My role was made redundant (from MasterCard’s global sales team) following a very successful career over 15 years. I had a strong track record with many accomplishments; however I wanted professional assistance to help manage the transition to a new role.
I engaged Niamh, because I was specifically looking for coaching on interview & presentation skills and how best to manage interview communication (verbal & non-verbal). I extended the brief to include refining my CV, and simulated interviews based on competencies for specific roles. Her mix of candid feedback and positive approach has enabled me to successfully experiment on style.

ILM Development This two day training is designed for organisations requiring outplacement programmes, employment agency support staff and job seekers wishing to update and enhance their CV and interview skills.

The application and interview process provides many challenges for those seeking employment following redundancy and during economic down turn. Traditional CV formats and application forms are increasingly replaced with a more competency based approach. Increased competition at interview and reduced job opportunities means all candidates have to significantly enhance their approach.

Participants will achieve a good understanding of competency based CV’s and application forms and the preparation required for interviews. They will also acquire the skills for maximising rapport building, enhancing verbal and non verbal communication and have leant techniques to manage nerves and create confidence.
